Ludwig Van Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany. He was one of the best known pianists and composers. When he was young, Beethoven was taught by his own father to play the piano. Johann van Beethoven was a very strict teacher, and wanted to exploit Beethoven as a child prodigy since the young Beethoven was very talented.
 
 
Around late 1770’s, Beethoven began to study with one of the prominent teachers in Bonn. His teacher was Christian Gottlob Neefe who taught him how to compose. Later, Neefe helped Beethoven to write his fist published composition. At the time Neefe still held a position as the Court’s Organist, and Ludwig soon began working for him as an assistant organist. The Tale of Despereaux

 

The Tale of Despereaux is a children’s fantasy book written by Kate DiCamillo, published in 2003. It is a timeless classic story which is about the adventures of a mouse named Despereaux Tilling, and he begins his quest to rescue a human princess from the rats.
 
In 2004. this book won the Newbery Medal award. Later, it has been adapted and make into a video game as well as a stage musical. The Tale of Despereaux was also adapted into a film in 2008.

Chinese Ancient Musical Instruments

Back in 1977, there were four chambers full of numerous musical instruments were found in Suzhou in Hubei Province, China. These instruments were dated back more than 2,500 years ago.
