How to Play C Major Chord on Piano

The formula for major chord is:
 
1 – 3 – 5

1 – Root Chord
3 – Major Third (has four half steps above the root note)
5 – Perfect Fifth (has seven half steps above the root note)

By applying the formula of
1 – 3 – 5, or
Root – Major Third – Perfect Fifths,
the three notes of the C Major Chord (Cmaj chord) are:
