How to count 6/8 time when you see the time signature of 6/8? You’ve learned how to count with 4/4 time signature in Note Durations. So in 6/8 time, you’ll count six (6) of the eighth note (1/8) in one measure, for example :
 
1,2,3,4,5,6 | 1,2,3,4,5,6 | 1,2,3,4,5,6 | 1,2,3,4,5,6
