| Introduction |
Welcome to the Advanced Piano Lessons Section!There are lots of fun concepts to learn in this section! You will continue to build on what you have learned in both the beginner piano lessons section and the intermediate piano lessons section. In this section, you will learn advanced and extended chords, along with improvisation techniques that will help you get that professional sound out of your piano playing!
Just as in the two previous sections, the advanced piano lessons section also contains five subsections. Below is a list of all the subsections and what you will learn in each.
Learn Songs: Here you will learn three more additional songs, "The First Noel", "Auld Lang Syne", and "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!". These songs are more difficult, but you have made it this far, so you are definitely ready for the challenge!
Chords: In this section, you will learn exciting new chords that will continue to build on the chords from both the beginner chords section and intermediate chords section. Learn about some fun new chords such as the diminished, augmented, 6th, suspended, 9th, 11th, and 13th chords!
Music Theory: Learn about the blues scale! This scale is used as the foundation for blues music.
Improvisation: New patterns to learn will be added soon!
Technique: New exercise techniques will be added soon!
